I don't think that I can really teach you anything, but with paint everything happens in the final hours, when the little highlights appear and your are redefining everything. I would love to see you in action with your colored pencils because I really can't understand how you can create those photorealistic images. Since I've been painting I've wrestled with whether I should try and loosen up or not but when I see something like the piece you just finished, I realize it's ok to be tighter and more realistic. I can't do anything else anyway, so I don't know why I get stressed over it.
